O. Andrew Orien, CPA - Audit Shareholder

O. Andrew (Orie) Orien, CPA, is a shareholder in the Audit Department of Mikunda, Cottrell & Co. with 26 years of professional experience serving health care, not-for-profit, governmental and financial services organizations. Prior to joining Mikunda, Cottrell & Co. in 1991, Orie was a partner in the Anchorage office of Ernst & Young.

Orie has served as engagement partner for a diverse group of not-

for-profit health care organizations with annual revenues ranging

from $1 to $50 million, and has performed many specialized

consulting projects for healthcare facilities. He is also experienced

with the financial reporting requirements for tribal government

organizations and frequently provides training to boards of directors.

In addition, Orie serves as staff training, quality control and peer

review coordinator for the firm, teaching regional staff schools

at Ernst & Young for 5 years.

Orie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public

Accountants and Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Orie graduated from the University of Washington.
